Sweetest Place On Earth

We have returned and recovered from our trip to Hershey. It was quick but enjoyable. On our first full day we spend the morning at the Hershey's Chocolate World , which included a ride through a simulated chocolate factory. We enjoyed it so much (and there was no line) that we went a second time. It was the main thing that I remembered from when I was there as a kid.
The "Really Big 3-D Show" was incredible. The Hershey kisses were flying out at us and it looked quite real. The other effects were so much fun including a seat that shook and vibrated us.
While Jeanna relaxed at the Spa we went to the Hershey Gardens. The butterflies were quite pretty. We returned to the Chocolate World so that we could do the Factory Experience and the Old Time Trolley Tour. At the factory, the kids got to work a Kiss assembly line, which was cute. The trolley took us on a tour of the town and included sing-alongs which whe kids loved. he tour guides were low talkers adn hard to hear, but it was still pleasant.
One of the best things about Hershey Park is that each admission comes with a Preview night. So we purchase our tickets for Saturday on Friday, and were able to spend from 7:30-10:00 PM inside the park for "free."
The park was a blast. We could have easily spent the two full days there, as there were several areas we didn't even get to. We never even saw the entrance to the zoo which is attached and included, let alone all the rides. We were sort of limited with the height and bravery levels of our girls, but there were several rides, including water rides, that even the baby could go on.
The drive was pretty long but well worth it, Ican't wait to go back in a few years when Jessica is tall enough to do more and Jacqueline can enjoy even more rides.
