General Notes, Rules, and History
We have been at this for about 7 or 8 years now and our group continues to grow. This will mark our second year using Yahoo! which makes my cousin Lauri very happy and makes the pool run much better than the other sites we have used.
The rules are simple: Follow all of the rules on Yahoo! and for the $3 pool I need your money before tip off of the first game or I will remove you from pool. Let me know if you need my mailing address. It will be 'Winner Take All' unless we have 20 or more entries at which point it will be 60-40 for 1-2
While I ask that you limit yourself to one entry per person, per pool, I am allowing multiple entries per account. For example I will let my girls do the free pool under my name, no need for them to create a Yahoo! account. Make the name of the 'Bracket' be the person's first name. Also feel free to join both pools.
Hints from doing this over the years:
1. Don't wait til the last minute. You don't want a computer glitch to keep you out of participating.
2. Become familiar with the site in advance. You don't want an operator error to ruin your March to Glory.
3. Have fun with the message board. We are all friends (indirectly) here. But we do have KY fans playing so keep posts simple and easy to read.
4.Once you log in and make picks, bookmark/favorite the Yahoo! Fantasy Sports page to the group for easy access.
5. Bring along your own friends and family, the more the merrier. You may forward this message to your friends and family.
Let me know if you need a hand, you do need a Yahoo! account to play but it is free and easy to create.
